The park is an ideal stop over for water sport enthusiasts.  Access to various kinds of water sports on dam like water-skiing and wind surfing.  An 8m high speed water slide with an indoor heated- and outdoor swimming pool provides endless hours of fun and entertainment for guests. It is also an angler’s paradise with a wide variety of fish.  For the bird lovers there is much to be appreciated, with about 62 different species around.  A large community hall, equipped with 5 built-in spit roast braais and catering facilities, provides an ideal venue for caravan rallies, conferences, functions and seminars. A big-screen available for special events like important rugby-games, etc. 

A general store on the premises, Shop de Amigos, provides everything needed, from fresh meat, groceries, everything needed for your braai, fishing supplies, fresh vegetables, cigarettes, sweets, ice cream, etc. Big variety of fishing bait and basic needs in Camp Master department and liquor store. 

Fully equipped luxury chalets and camping sites for caravans and tents, surrounded by luscious lawns and shady trees all over the entire area next to the dam. Additionally, 16 paved stands for our long-term guests.

NB. No motorbikes and 4-wheelers allowed on the premises; however all kinds of bicycles are most welcome.

LOCATION

Amigos Caravan Park is situated 13km from Ventersdorp on the banks of the Rietspruit Dam.  Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp are approximately 70km away. Amigos Caravan Park is near enough to Johannesburg and Pretoria for a quick weekend get-away, when you’ve just had enough of the city.
